RXP Wedge with "Adjustable VTS Trim Rod"
Ever since I installed a 2 degree wedge I had problems on starts when low on gas. Even when shifting weight as far forward as I could, there would be times when fully trimed down the ski would shoot out of the water and cavitate on a WOT start. I noticed R & D Racing supplied a "adjustable billet VTS trim rod" as part of their wedge kit. Apparently they do not market this piece by itself but Butch and Glen were nice enough to sell it to me by itself. After about a 3 minute install, this thing totally sovled my problem. All wedge kits should include this piece. It allows the full range of trimming that was lost previously with just the wedge. I would be surprised if I were the only one with this problem.
