    Pop up cleat install

Well I wanted some way to tie up my Honda without wraping something around the handle bars or mirrors wich I do not recomend either one. Also I did not like trying to tie off to the bow loop. So I installed a set of pop up cleats. Here is some pics of what I did.

Thanks, they do sit perfectly flush, the one pic where it looks slightly raised is just sitting in the hole before it was bolted down from the inside of the hull.

Ebay..... Do a search for cleats. Not a whole lot to search through. These are 6 in. cleats. I would go for the 4 inch ones, if I did it again, but if I found a better deal on the larger ones I would still use them again. I did have to make a spacer for the bracket as the hull was not thick enough. I will take more pics and post them tomorrow. I belive it will also work well with tying off fenders to keep the docks from damaging the rub rails.

Nice looking install!! The chrome really helps the looks of a already nice looking unit. Did you put them on both sides?

Thanks, I did install them on both sides. If it ever warms up I will give it a bath and take more pics. I am also working on another project for the honda. So keep looking back. As I am doing a couple of low budget performance mods. Just waiting until I get everything in to get started. Looking at doing intercooler, bov and raising the boost. I might even do an additionl injector set up to richen the mix. Not sure how crazy I am going to go with Project Buget Boost. Trying to keep the project under $300. But I may have to go with a set of Nitro's springs and retainers to keep everything in check. But we will have to wait and see. I will take lots of pics and give lots of info. I just hope I can get some help and info when I need it.

    Thanks,
    Rodney
