    Looking at a RXT

I am looking at upgrading from my 97 GSX to a RXT or a RXP. I have 3 kids that love to go out on the rivers and lakes here in MN. I have ridden the RXP. How does it compare to the RXT?? Working some OT to pay cash for one in the spring. I would also like to know if getting the washers changed out is a hassle with some dealers.

since you say you have 3 kids i think you should go with the rxt because of the three seater option. as for the engine , it is the same as the rxp but the rxp is faster due to its smaller size but i advise you to go with the rxt, it has great handling and would be suitable for u.

ya i would shoot for the 3-seater RXT
It should'nt be a problem with your dealer
if there is any speculation that there is, send it right over to Jerry!
he will have the washers done quickly and shipped right back in a jiffy

Added to all that the RXT also provides a dryer ride in those cooler days when you wanna ride but don't wanna get soaked

Would you consider a little travel? I have a 07 Yellow and black
NEW mint shape with Metal washers and 16 hours in Texas.
    2 year best warranty.

All depends on the price of the ski. My snowmobiles are all Yellow/black so it would match. What are you looking to get for it???

For a forum memeber I will help out on price! It has Jerry's Metal SCer clutch washers that cost me $100 bucks and it also has a 2 year warranty. MINT 16 hours.

I sent you a PM. Lets try and make a deal.

definitely an RXT. it gives you a nice ride, a speed similar to a RXP's, and since you can put three people on it, you can take everyone out on the water, just put some people on a tube lol. with 215 horsepower in the RXT's size, you shouldn't any trouble blazing down the river even when you tow a tube. but if you want an RXP, it doesn't have a ride as stable and my dad says that you have to ride it aggressively, but you do get a little more speed.

I have my 05 rxt with the Seadoo ski pylon. I like it. I pull my tube with it. Way more than enough power. There was a video on youtube with a RXT pulling a manta ray tube but i don't think its there any more. If you want to ride with people you need the RXT.

I have ridden the RXP which is great also. The RXP is more nible due to its smaller size and has trim. You can ride two but its best with one. I really like the trim.

It is a hard choice between the two. I think it comes down to whether your are going to tow and have people ride with you or not. You may want to look into the wake 215-same as RXT but with all the ski stuff on it. The wake 215 was not available in 05 when i bought mine so i bought just the pylon and had it put on my RXT.

with kids and wanting to pull them, the RXT is the only way to go. I have the RXT, and a friend with the RXP that I've ridden a lot. As others have said, the RXP is a little faster, and you can ride it a bit harder, but even with just 2 people on them, the RXT is more stable hands down than the RXP.

As far as pulling power, I weigh 220 lbs, and I slalom ski behind my RXT all the time. With double high wrap bindings, it pulls me out of the water better than anything I've skied behind, except when I had my Air Nautique. and I pull a friend on slalom who weighs a LOT more than me with no issues at all. So there is nothing to worry about as far as what it will do.
