How to tell which one this ECU is?

I was under the impression that you didn't have to adjust the cam with the stock class ecu. Im installing an ecu and there were directions on adjusting the cam. Is this the stock class ECU? And how can I tell. Thanks!

Thank you very much! Now I will look for the "how to" on doing that! The directions said to do it really didn't show anything on how to.

    Put #3 cylinder on TDC

Lock the cam in place with the cam shaft locking tool (i think a long 3/8" bolt will work)

Loosen the 3 cam sprocket bolts.

Take the pump cone off the pump to gain access to the 12 mm allen bolt.

Rotate the pump counter clockwise until the 2 cam sprocket bolts are all the way to the right in the slots.

    Tighten them down.

The manual will give information on locking the cam, etc.

What is the reason for retarding the timing with that ecu.
    For performance or for reliabillity?
    Thanks,

    Cam Timing

Is there a noticeable difference? And will it work on the none stock class RR ECU?
