    O2 sensor mounting

Skip or someone else. Could you post up a picture of a O2 sensor install on a 15F. Or tell me where I should mount it on the exhaust manifold. I am guessing drill and tap right before 1st waterbox.

    Thanks, Jim

Yes, I pulled my plugs for the first time 93 hours. They looked lean! I am thinking about doing something and I need to be able to monitor the AFR. I have the full RIVA RPM kit with a CAI fitted to the rear bucket. Also, sometime when just cruising I feel a lean surge, I believe.

Yea I have an 06, too. I think with the mods I have now its on the lean side for sure. Planning on using a AEM F/IC. You can adjust injectors +/- 100% and retard timing off map or boost. Another plus you can add two more injectors up stream of theT/B, if you need them.

I have a R&D POwershot fuel tuner. I just ordered a LM-! AFR meter. It is my understanding the each meter prefers a different location for the O2 sensor. Thus, you need to read your specific instructions for your unit. I also have heard that most O2 sensors do not like water. They can burn out if pushed too far into the exhaust pipe. Some are to be placed close to the collector and some close to the water box. I too would like to here who has what AFR set up, and where did they wind-up placing the O2 sensor.
