    Heads Up Display

I thought heads up displays were only used by jet pilots. But the Sportvue MC2 is now made for motorcycle riders and only costs $200. In a coupla years, maybe they will be used by high perf PWC riders. I bet real time HUD full color 3d GPS is just around the corner.

    F-16 HUD demo.

Space Shuttle HUD landing (long 5 minute clip but shuttle descends from upper atmosphere to earth).

The way these HUDS layer info allowing pilot to focus solely on whats ahead is amazing.

Here is a BMW 530 with small heads up. I have to do a lot of driving in these type of conditions. Throw in darkness, snowfall & twisty roads & its white knuckle concentration where a HUD could help.

I dont really have much need in car for speed/rpm HUD. Its the GPS that would be nice plus display of my Subaru traction control. It would be helpful to know exactly when any wheel starts to spin and the roadway ahead when there is bad visibility.

On a pwc, its the MC2 wireless HUD display technology that Id like to see merge with 3d real time gps.

    Real Time GPS

Here are some examples of 3d gps on regular motorcycle panel. The custom guages shown in rt photo seem to swivel onto or away from the OEM inst panel. Anyone know where to get the custom bracket? There is plenty of marine software!
