72.6 would be enough for me. I would be estatic with that number. Good Luck.

no, not yet. Oil versus grease I wonder about the longevity of the bearing.

    Bob,
I have ran the Riva plate with and without the 2 degree wedge. I got a little over 1 mph increase with the wedge. I like the extra speed but it will take away from your rough water handling. The 1 degree wedge may work better for you but I don't have any personal experiance with it.

I should try the wedge with Jim's cut riva plate and do comparisons to other plates. I just need time and the right weather to do it. Since I got the riva plate I have not had a good day to really test the plate.

I would love to see 71+ I think if I could do 70-71 consistently I would leave well enough alone and be done with the ski.

I am excited and want to hear more about the new repitched stock impellar. I could use another 1.4 mph and not change touch the engine or Sc.

BTW, Bob I think the speed you are running with so little mods and on radar is very impressive and gives me an idea of what the ski is capable of.

Hi Guys, not a good day today.......lake to myself and i,ve not touched the ski apart from a 2 deg wedge.

Anyway got to the slip and fired up the ski b4 slippin it into the water....and couldn,t believe it had developed a miss fire, all be it a very slight one.......GUTTED!!!!!! I thought i,d check all connections and plugs but nothing, all looked good on the conections front and the plugs looked perfect. So rather than make a tit of myself on the slip by gettin my tools out, I retired gracefully and will drop it to my dealer in Poole, let him put it on his computer and work his magic....I,m one of the lucky ones, my dealer is one of the rare ones that knows his stuff and is not blinded by what Manufacturers try to brain wash em with......

On an other issue check out the thread:

LOOSE PIPE CONNECTOR ON ENGINE!!!!!(METAL NOT RUBBER).
