    Stock plate speed #s

Post up your top speeds using the stock ride plate. I believe the spitfire broke 80 mph using the stock plate, stock tabs, 1200 grate and 158 mm skat pump and skat prop. Please only numbers with the stock plate.

80mph is good on the stock plate, but I've always heard it can be alittle
dangerous, or have a handling problem above 80mph due to it riding on the nose???? I mean your just plowing thru the water like an rxp with that stock plate Just don't want you to get hurt.

Ron, I cant speak for other skis but my ski was a handling dream yesterday. Felt stable, nimble and quick. Turning has never been better than it was yesterday with the skat pump.

Cool, I've never tried it. There are few ski's with enough power to run above 80mph on a stock plate and even fewer that have even tried it. Just passing along some information that might keep you alive. Your probably fine at 80 but start going faster and I'm sure your in uncharted territory. Just be safe.
