how does everyone feel about the riva kit? how about the riva heads? is there another brand out there that gives you better performance?

Hello GP504, The riva heads and kits are great, but Jims Performance can machine your stock head for far less money with equal results.

    Hey there..

If you're after an 80 mph ski DON'T buy the Riva Kit (any so called stage..)

With the Riva stuff all you'll end up with is:.. a whole load of stuff to sell, when you realize its not all that..!!!

There hundreds of threads on here with guys trying to burst 80mph..

Do some research to find out what the Majority Say's works for them..

Then be prepared for lots of tinkering with setting stuff up..

I can assure you there is No bolt on and go 80mph package anywhere period...

Ok buddy enough crushing your ambition.. it can be done..!!
Just NOT with a Riva Kit..

Well a Riva kit is not the way to go when making a 80mph ski I can tell you that.

The fastest way for you to get your ski going 80mph is taking it to a respected tuner.

It usually takes atleast porting to do 80mph in good weather. A good 1390 setup will do 80mph in the heat. Anyways it is all about the money. Just don't buy the RIVA kit.

How much do you have to spend?

Ross is right, Jim can save you a lot of money. With A 1300, he can get you to 76 + pretty quick. His boat (1390) is doing 80+, so he can do that also,

Give Jerry at WFO or Ben Herman Performance a ring and your dreams will be realized very fast. 80+ has been done by both many times.
