Terrorist attack on the Illinois river

I was out this past Saturday on the freeze your butt off ride hosted by snoman. The ski was running great, I was doing about a 1 mile long WOT run when I was attacked by terrorists.
Need opinions on why this happened. water was 45 degrees air was 33
My RXP went out with a bang! It is now time to rip it apart for the final time. (GPR awaits the engine)

You should've whipped out your plasma rifle and shot back at the terrorists!

My guess is the box got damaged because of drastic temperature changes. The box went from sitting in outside temps to running water through it all full operating temps..Did you have it sitting outside overnight? Or do you have a heated garage..?

these type of terrorists like to attack under these conditions "45 degrees air was 33".

counter measures can be put into effect by increasing the injector size I believe.

I think riding in the winter is the cause of my terrorist attack last year

Steve that is crazy how it just put a hole in it like that. It almost looks like it was struck there with something.

Seadoo should be embrassed at the quality of our waterboxes.

slice open a honda or yamaha waterbox and it makes the thickness of our aluminum boxes look like paper-mache

nonetheless... that's a pretty interesting spot for it to blow a hole. i would expect it in the bottom that's under directed exhaust gases..

did it backfire and explode that thing or what

i bet the whole supercharger blew out of the PTO and slammed into the waterbox and after it punctured a hole and exploded the waterbox the boom slammed the SC back into the motor

lmfao!~ I was believing it and worried for about 2.3 seconds.

Yeah, I figure it is a temperature thing as well.
I cant believe it blew a hole through it like that either.

The strange thing was that the boat started running real crappy and had a power loss as soon as it happened. The exhaust got real loud under my ass, and the flow rites were venting smoke out the sides, it was nerve racking to say the least when it happened. My bilge only kicked on a couple times for the 3 mile ride back to the ramp. I was just VERY happy it got me back dry.
