    First Modifications

Alrighty, I have a 2004 RXP which I love dearly, however, it's time for some more power. Anyone have any suggestions for some first modifications? Thanks in advance guys!

    BSD
    OPAS blockoffs
    Riva Grate
    Sponsons
    Air intake
Impeller repitch to a 12/19.5 by Impros, or a PPG pitched Solas
    Rotax Racing 158 deg. thermostat
    Vortech Supercharger Impeller
    Rotax Racing Intercooler

then maybe down the line add a Rotax Racing ECU

first mod IMO should be OPAS block off kit. Then an intake grate.

From there, it depends on what direction you want to take the ski.

much better handling and increased speed and tractability thru chop.

it will not increase your speed in slick calm conditions.

Now what can I get that will help my top speed out. My boss is getting and RXP and he insists I am going to be #2 on the lake this year, I plan on kicking his ass

Well if his remains stock and you put on the intake grate, you'll stay hooked up and will reach closer to that 100% stock speed in conditions where his will be bouncing and porpoising and coming unhook and dropping RPM's and MPH.

But if you have your stock impeller repitched (tuned) or buy an upgraded impeller like the Solas 14/19 then you can achieve better speeds and acceleration without any other mods. Of course complementing these mods with others will just open you up to more acceleration and top speed. It's a vicious cycle that will empty your piggy bank, but the feeling is addicting when you start going to other lakes and taking names.

I think my first round of Mods is going to be:

    OPAS blockoffs
    Riva Grate
    Solas 14/19
