Jetski wont start - ideas?
well i havent riden the ski in about 4 months.... just went out to start it to take it out on the lake and it wouldnt start.... push the start button and all you hear is the fuel pump make a noise but nothing else... was working fine before....
i noticed now that there was about not even 1/4 of water murk sitting in the bottom of the hull.... is the starter still on the bottom of the engine side by the exhaust on the rxp motor?
I drained the water and it has been drying out the past 2 days... i changed the batter thinking that might be it but no dice...

No click means your starter relay isn't engaging. I think the relay coil voltage comes from the ECU. Find the wires going to the relay coil and put a low current LED test light or voltmeter across them and hit the starter button. If you've got 12V to the relay coil and no click then replace the starter relay. If you've got low or no volts check for a bad ground on the engine block or battery. If the grounds are good then you will have to trace the circuit to find where you are losing voltage to the relay. Hope this helps.

no clicks.... going to put the battery back in now and see if any better since letting the hull dry out the last 4 days...

It was the starter relay that took a dump... paid $35... replaced and all ok now....
