I'm kinda laughing because to me it's like... How in the hell do you steal this thing and expect to hide it and not get caught or even use it without being seen?

furthermore, how in the heck did someone not notice a freaken huge offshore race boat disappear on a trailer!

I mean what a joke in reality, even tho i know nothing about background info. Sounds like an inside job to me I just can't imagine something of this calibar doing a disappearing act

You mean it's on it's way back from South America already!

Shibby, you'd be suprised on how easy it would be to steal something like that. Especially if the owner had the same thoughts as you, "oh who's gonna steal this". There's a pwc shop not to far from me that leaves customer's brand new Sea Doo's on the trailer with no locks on the trailer in an unfenced lot. Just this weekend I spotted two RXP's sitting on a double Karavan trailer that had no lock on it and no body around. It probably would have taken me no less then 10 seconds (5 if Danny was with me) to snatch it up.

gotta love the insurance company trying to get by with only being out $50K instead of the total value of the boat.

shouldn't have written that policy if you cant pay for it.

No.. That's part of the policy. Most high value insurance forms will have a reward clause built into them.
