'93 Wave Runner III Rebuild Question

I've been lurkin' for long enough that I finally have a question.
I'm in the process of rebuilding the Grandson's '93 WR III with the 650 engine.
Question: Is there supposed to be a 1/64" gasket between the parting halves of the crankcase?
    Thanks, Ed in 'ol Virginny

nope and 3 bond 1211 is the ticket..
if someone did a mill job to streighten out a mating surface .. a gasket may just put it back in bearing diameter spec's,but just a patch job ,not o/e.
