TRITON! will last forever that aluminum. i only touch salt water... my first Karavan single galvanized trailer went to chit in a matter of a year... but now have two skis and a double aluminum triton... I like it alot.

the only other trailer I would have considered aside from this triton is a Double Galvanized Shorelander. the double shorelanders are heavy duty tanks! Vman here on the forum will tell you how much he loves his...

i got the triton because the price was VERY right

Aluminum is the way to go?? Are they sturdy, and well built? How do they ride? How much lighter then the galvanized are they?

the torsion axle ELITE model will run smoother than the leaf spring... but that comes with a price. That's the model Jerry has. the triton aluminum trailers won't rust, are light, BUT i've heard of the welds starting to crack many times. they are well built, nice trailers, but the machines put alot of abuse on a trailer, and the triton being so light with leaf springs will adversely put a beating on your machines if you don't have it setup properly. so if ur gonna go triton, get the torsion axles and do it right

the shorelander trailers are TANKS and you can drive over anything at whatever speed you want. the trailers are built like rocks and they are heavy and take the road a bit better... nice fat wide tires, heavy gauge galvanized metal.... I like shorelanders just by the few times i saw Vman on the road fly past me at like 85 mph on the thruway with two 4-tecs on it sitting perfectly still riding like a caddy behind his truck

getting a great trailer with either company... everybody has their biased opinions on what trailer is best depending on which one they own

Mine has torsion axles and it rides like its on air.

Mine cost me $2300 with tax title license and it has all the goodies including aluminum mag wheels and mag spare.

I have had my Triton Elite2 trailer for a year now, and it has worked flawlessly.

The guy who I bought mine from screwed up on the pricing, and I got mine for $1,200 plus tax. I also bought my ski from him at the same time though, so he let it go......

I use mine in freshie only though, but it rides great with the torsion.
