Need some christmas gift ideas for my brother. He just got a 2007 GTX Limited in august and this is his first ski. It is completely stock.

I think the people from post #73 in the above thread will 2nd it too!

Read post #1 for more info.

Depending on what kind of money you're looking to spend I suggest 1st get the metal washers for $110, 2nd would be skegs for $98, 3rd some JB weld for his rideplate holes and intake grate holes for $5. From there on out parts for our skis become a little expensive to be giving them out as Christmas gifts IMO

If I was your bro I wouldn't even put that ski in the water untill he replaces the ceramic super charger washers with metal ones...

    It has to be done!

    does he have a cover??
does he have nice riding shoes? all terrain kind for water sports...like salomon teva merrell adidas
    a GAS card?
oil change kit so he can do it himself and save tons of money?
on a GTX/RXT the washers are not as imperative as on a RXP, depends on how he rides, really hard, jumping out of the water all the time ,unhooking the pump at high RPM?? or more a smooth operator.
washers are easy to upgrade, you just pull out your SC and send it in to GREENHULK, he swaps in the new washers and checks over your SC for a really good price.
but may not be a necessity in teh first year, i would consider riding habits and hours, swapping them out at 75-100 hrs, when its convenient, like over the winter, or sooner if he rides real hard.

I wish!! DO NOT TAKE A CHANCE ON THE STOCK WASHERS no matter how you ride. We've seen a lot of '07's fail in 5 hours or less.
