    Exhaust Hose needed

    hi

On my way home I called 4 boat stores and when I asked for 2 3/4" exhaust hose it seemed they thought i was crazy.

Where can I get hose that I can use as a coupler between the shorty and exhaust tip.

Am I asking for the wrong thing?

NAPA parts has it by the foot or inch. It's thick walled gates rubber hose and is very good stuff. They have it hanging up in their store in 6 ft lengths and they cut what you want. It's with their large truck fuel line. They have various sizes but I found 2 3/4" there. You could also order a coupling from silicone intakes.

If you don't have NAPA try other good auto parts stores.

    Thanks

you can also use a silicone hose coupler... i used what is called a hump hose for turbo systems ...vibrant products ...the hump isolates and gives a little flex so things dont brake ...you can get them at about any local speed shop

in the RXT shorty install the coupler from the exhaust tip to the water box outlet needs to be about 6 to 8 inches long.
All the Humps I found are 3 to 3.5 inches

The current shorty outlet could be lengthend by about 3 inches and a hump or standard coupler could be used. Hint hint

    thanks forthe recommendation

Silicone hose like that is used in the stock and factory pipe tuned pipes for the 800 XPs and 800 SPXs to join the two halves of the pipe together
