    HDTV Discussion?

I just got my first HDTV (finally), it's a sony KDL-46W3000 flat panel lcd. Anyone know of any forums out there? I'd like to read and discuss all the settings and in-outs of of this thing.

I am a little disappointed that Time Warner in KC only has about 15 HD channels. I guess more are on the way. HD Discovery Channel is very addictive! My girlfriend is a little pissed, she wanted a ring but I wanted the TV... hehe.

Anyone up for hdtv discussion? Tips, tricks?

cancel time warner and get dish or something. I can count the hd channels on 2 hands, their new navigator on the SA 8300 HDC sucks, it's slow, crashes all the time and the DVR ends recording 2 minutes before the show ends. (but not as bad as the time shift on this server!!!!)

It would be cheaper for me to fork out $200 to cancel my time warner contract and go with dish network with every channel. They are running a promo for $39 for 1 year. Not sure what it defaults after that I am sure it's better than time warner.

TV is great so far. I thought I'd regret the 46' but my living room isn't that big. If/when i buy a house I'll have to put this one in the bed room and get something bigger. Maybe they'll have plasma working better by then.. who knows. thanks for all the input!
