    motor mounts

mockup motor - spare block i have laying around that launched a rod thru the cases, gutted it and used that since it weighs nothing and can be lifted in and out by hand with ease

    Fuel System

Gas Tank mounting and tank ventilation

straps have about 6in. of peak "elasticity" - clip straps together and onto brackets and mark where they lay freely... then drop it about 2-3" further down on each side and u'll have PLENTY of tension on there

this is where i chose to rivot my brackets and two of them required modification for optimal position - see pics

    reinforcement

    THE PUMP TUNNEL REINFORCEMENT

it was not done with a template and multiple layers stacked upon each other.

it was done with dozens of strips about 3-5" wide and varying lengths all going in different directions and crossing and overlapping and hitting multiple hull contact points simultaneously with each strip. The THINEST points have about 5-6 layers and at some overlap points there's 8-10 layers

WEST Epoxy System Resin & Hardner was used

    * see preliminary photos, not the 100% finished product yet

all excess factory glue and epoxy was removed from hideous places where it stood out like a sore thumb, and also the ridges where the inner and outter hulls meet were grinded smooth in many places to eliminate areas for chit to collect, and some of the valleys were filled with epoxy resin - more pictures of this at a later time after the interior cosmetics are complete

also, every bracket and insert was removed for shoe, tabs, and plate and will all be replaced
