Thumbs up Turbo SEA-DOO Wins Kings Cup!!!!

Just a short note to let all you doo lovers know that this weekend our Pro Class rider Anthony Antees took a massive victory in the prestigious TJSBA Kings Cup.

Riding a SEA-DOO GTI 4-TEC with Garret turbo and Autronics ECU built by Gold Coast SEA-DOO with technical assistance & parts from Les Cooke of SEA-DOO Center Australia Anthony beat a slew of top level machines from all around the world.

Competitors were racing craft like Macc 15F's, Skelton 15F's, Tim Judge built 15F's & 12R's, Franco RXP's, etc....

We have a large number of pics online from the event from the four days, many may not be meaningful to others but some good stuff there.

    Thursday- http://s217.photobucket.com/albums/c...day/?start=all

    Friday- http://s217.photobucket.com/albums/c...day/?start=all

    Saturday- http://s217.photobucket.com/albums/c...day/?start=all

    Sunday- http://s217.photobucket.com/albums/c...day/?start=all

Our expert rider lost the Expert Open class when in the 3rd moto a rectifier failed and the battery was drained during the race, a replacement rectifier & battery quickly fixed the problem but the DNF ment a 3rd place overall.

Anthonys Pro class ski is the black & white one (#A1), Robs expert ski is the red one (#A44).

With the great performance both craft were snapped up by teams before the end of competition, even though only one was for sale.

The winning riders of the Pro R/A catagory are-

    2002- Chok Molee SEA-DOO

    2003- Dustin Farthing KAWASAKI

    2004- Chok Molee SEA-DOO

    2005- Dustin Farthing KAWASAKI

    2006- Chris MacCluggage KAWASAKI

    2007- Anthony Antees

congrats, to a Les build turbo victory,

but there was no Franco RXP's ROTAX RACING RXP on the line, that is BS, because I meet both factory riders in europe on the weekend, and Nadir ( 3rd factory rider, with Zapata hull) had a victory in the 1st round of the U.A.E championship !

MR, there was pleanty of Franko built stuff there........

I lost count of the highly modified RXP's on the line in the open classes.

Remember no GP classes anywhere but EJSBA & WF.

you have seen RXP/RXTs with ROTAX RACING parts developed by Franco, but no engine or boat was build by him.

have you seen Norito Nakano from Japan , he has a complete ROTAX RACING engine. all the other boats use only ROTAX RACING parts.
I dont think Norito was there, because he had allready at the WF a problem with his Leg.

there was no EJSBA boat there as well, the Team Serbia RXT dit not race in EJSBA 2007

but that fact should not put the victory down from Anthony

I did not realise that Nakano was injured he is a very good rider and was very fast on his GPR last year.

The 15F's were the competition this year, but IMHO the reason so many people think the 15F is the ski to be on is because of the results with riders like Macc, Farthing & Franky. These guys are the best there is.

Apart from James Bushell, has anyone else run a GTI in Europe?

BTW, the Serbians with the RXT's were off the pace in Pro.

Im not sure of the names but The guy that rides the Red Bull RXP (If thats the Turbo ski your reffering to) then he is 1 hell of a rider. I noticed that he's been giving franky some problems. and back in 05 or 04 not sure of the date when Franky was riding the Kawasaki the RedBull RXP words cant explain Use 2 run frank for a few laps, but none the less Zapata came out on top as always. But who ever the guy on the turbo RXP is congrats and keep it up.

Are you talking about James Bushell?

We race in Australia & Asia, not Europe.....

James Bushell has a Zapata Hull now for next season, he was not to happy with the GTI.

how was the performance of the Serbian RXT ?

Norito Nakano has a Zapata hull as well, he dit only 1 race in Havasu because of his lake, and was just behind Franky Zapata, way in front of DUSTIN

Norito is racing as sponsored pilot for SEADOO Japan, using a full ROTAX RACING 335 HP engine

but I know Sams GTI, it is verry fast off the line, with a bit more luck he could mad 1st or 1nd place at the WF,

why is Antony not racing at the WF ??
