    New Member with GP1300R Questions

I got turned on to this site by a friend that I just purchased a 03 GP1300R ski from. It's got 30 hours on it, custom paint, and hydro-turf. (No other mods)

Here's my question, I'm a novice rider and first time ski owner. What would some suggestions be to modify my ski. Keeping in mind I'm not intersted in going crazy. Priority will be sharp looking, fun for more freestyle riding, etc.

Also thinking about a stereo in it. Thanks for any help you can offer.

The best suggestion I could give you is grab something to drink, sit down, and hit the search button. There is a ton of information about going as far as you want to.
By the way welcom to the forum

    Reinforcing the pump tunnel
replace the stock intake grate with R&D
    seal the pump

The first 2 items listed are safety issues that must be fixed.

After the reinforcment/pump seal kit/intake grate,we can start you off with the basics and everything else from there is depended on how fast you wanna go and how quickly you want to get there.

I'm more intersted in how quickly than how fast. i would'nt mind doing a few mods to the appearance.....don't know why I like the idea so much, but mounting a clean audio system seems interesting.

I like clean lined looks, not a lot of clutter on my ski.
