    injector cleaning results

had my injectors cleaned and tested with new filters and "O" rings
I have a spare set of bodies so had all six cleaned and tested with the view to use the three best, and the biggest volume of the three will go in cylinder 3.

    results after cleaning were

    1/ 82mm
    2/ 81mm
    3/ 81mm
    4/ 80mm
    5/ 81mm
    6/ 80mm

    thinking of putting injector 2 & 3 in cylinders #1 and #2
then putting injector 1 in the cylinder #3 to give better fuel

    OR

    do i fit the injectors 4 & 6 in cylinders #1 and #2
and fit injector 1 in cylinder #3, giving a better flow in cylinder 3 and adjust up on the E.F.I knowing cylinder 3 is richer and safer.

or are the reading that close it really don't matter and i should have gone to bed off nights rather than sit up all afternoon thinking about it

    thanks guys

    paul

I got mine cleaned at the porche shop here in dallas..flowed and cleaned , ski starts quicker (even for an efi) and idles smoother....cant tell about top end as I now have a new motor and its 200 rpm better than the last one( the injectors did not give this increase).

Paul... this is the route I would take....

If you want to be really safe.. have the cylinders sent to me, and I will break them in for you over the next 6 months... then you can feel confident they are good at standing up to abuse

    Hello Paul:
Do you know @ what presure and impedence the injectors were tested? Do you have cc volume?
    Regards,
    jp

Ps. it seems that the difference between the hi and low figures, is 2.5%. 'Not sure if that would be enough of a variation to consider #3 getting a boost in fuel.
