    4-Tec waterbox baffle ?? pics ??

I just recieved my waterbox and I looked inside to see if it was one of the baffled ones or not. I'm sure some of you guys that have had this minor run in, could determine if it is or not by looking at some pics of what im looking at. When I look inside the inlet i see a peice of metal that has a slight curvature like to direct the flow of the water.

Yup, that's it! Mine broke off as well as other people's and the one thing I'm wondering is: Only a small rectangle broke off for me and from other's pictures the same thing happened to them. Is the rest of it, the part that's connected to the wall of the waterbox, going to break off eventually?

Thanks Anthony. I was in the garage looking at how i could remove it. I took a pry bar to it and that thing didnt even budge. I dont see how these things break off just like that !! Gonna go back and try something else.

Try heating it up with a torch, and then, when its nice and real hot, dose it with cold water...wait 30 sec. and hit it with a hammer....it should crumble to pieces. case solve. based on material characteristics on how they behave in certain exposed circumstances.......

Jammer, this sounds good except for the hammer part. You cant get a hammer in there Jammer. unless your MC HAMMER, and you can Jammer. !!
