    Help Please

i recently bought a 2001 genesis 1200 direct injected. the motor wont turn over, when you try to crank it, it sounds like a clunk noise coming from the starter. i removed and bench tested the old starter. it was sort of hesitant to spin, so i went ahead and replaced it. now i have the new starter on and still have the same problem. should i try to manually turn the crank shaft and if so, how do i do that??? someone please help i just want to ride my new toy but i cant get it to crank.

    Welcome to the Hulk..

To turn the motor buy hand remove the shroud over the driveshaft coupler item #6 and give it a spin with the sparkplugs removed.

Ruh Roh. If it still doesn't turn by hand you can either remove the pump and see if the drive train is your problem or you can pull the domes and check for engine damage.

    Good Luck, keep us posted.
