What would you approximate my Horsepower to be?

What are your guesses? What would you approximate my REAL WORLD horsepower to be? Sure wish it was easy to throw these things onto a dyno to measure the ponies at the crank

    2005 RXT

    Engine Mods:
    External Intercooler
    2006 Rotax Racing ECU
Rotax Racing 9.6 psi Supercharger Impeller
    Thermostat
    4" Air Intake
Rotax Racing Waterbox, modded J-pipe, and thru-hull exhaust

    my guess....
Rotax Racing stage 1 = 40 HP advertised
RR SC Impeller = 14 HP

I'm gonna say I have about a 250-255 HP machine

This is a wild guess....I would say you are pushing in area of 240-250hp.....just a guess, assuming you have the stock cam(s)

yea, i got a feeling i was being too generous giving the ski 200 real world HP at the crank in it's stock form... it's probably in the 190s or something if that

where do u see the fake HP ads... in the aftermarket parts, or in the baseline stock 215 number?... well obviously the 215 isn't real world, but how is the Rotax stage 1 classified at 40 HP gain? advertised or dyno proven?

we can get real depressing and talk about actual pump HP at the nozzle... gotta love jet propulsion

of course, lol.... but half the battle of getting speed is recognizing and tuning full HP potential to gain maximum power and ultimately RPMs.

Have been on the phone with a Fuel injector expert trying to diagnose and meet my EXACT fuel needs so i can squeeze every rpm out of my ski possible without going EMS, just yet anyways

    Riddle me this Shibbman:
how does seadoo advertise the 185 and the 215 if they aren`t really those numbers?

so does that mean that the 155 and 130hp models aren`t that either?...PR...

manufacturers legally get a certain leeway as to advertising a HP... take a stock mustang for example from the factory with advertised HP. put it on a dyno, the rwhp is hardly what it's claimed to be... you gotta dump an air intake, exhaust, and a tune usually to get it up to stock advertised dyno power

riva's dyno chart i think showed 208 HP for the RXP/RXT... i'm sure their dyno charts display the actual gains with each mod, but the debatable part is the starting point, the baseline HP.

the Riva stage 2 kit they display to add 22 HP to a machine.... close to 3k for 22 HP
