    GPRXP Battery support for turbo

This is for stickems turbo setup or anyone that wants to move the exhaust over to the other side. In a nutshell, You seal off the old GPR exhaust, and put a thru hull on the port side. The battery now goes where the exhaust used to go, using new trim tab brackets to mount a 7x7 angle bracket.

    Parts 304L SST:
    • 1"x1"x1/8" angle, 7.25" long. You will need 4 of them.
    • 1"x1/2" flat bar. Approx 8" long, cut to your length.
    • 307 mig wire or tig consumables.
    • M6 tap and corresponding drill bit.
    • 2x 3/16" aluminum rivet.
    • 8x M6 bolts. Not sure if the stock ones work or not.
    • 4200 sealant.
    Pictures to follow.

Unfortunately, the hull I'm putting these into isn't stock, so I'm not able to tell if you can drill the holes in the supports straight (perpendicular) on a stock hull. On this hull, the holes do not appear to be straight, by just looking at the original plates.

I'm going to have to mount the plates with rivets, drill the plates, in-situ, and also tack the battery bracket on top, in-situ.

On a side-note... you will need to choose your bolt length properly, or have them bottom out on the bottom of the bracket, or if you drill the bracket, possibly bottom on on the battery.

Why? Do you think taking a dead-weight of 25ish lbs off the starboard side of the nose of a RXP would be a good thing?

Okay, I've seen a couple of mounts for the RXP. One is other the gas tank, right where the intake hole is in front of the seat. The other is down where the old outlet was, similar to what I'm trying to do here.
