Jet specs on 44MM Red Tops, 1995 Raider 1100??
Good morning guys! I have a 1995 'Raider 1100 that, for the most part is stock. I just came across a set of Red Top 44's on a Riva intake manifold and reed spacer that came off of a Raider. I need to clean them and put them on my boat. What jet specs should I use? Needle/seat? #gram spring? I have Blowsion Air Filters (by Tau Ceti) on the boat, along with a 14/20 Solas prop, Pro-Tec drop nozzle and Pro-Tec top loader, Beach House sponsons. I live on the Gulf coast of Florida so I am at sea level and very high humidity. If you guys could help with this, that would be great! Dan @ WaterWorx suggested trying this forum, so here goes.
Thanks in advance,

Welcome to the forum, you came to the right place for info! You will get more help though if you post this in the Old School section. I can't help you with the jetting specs, but if you are running stock compression and cylinders, I don't think you will get much, if any benefit using the carbs. A 14/20 is too much prop for a basically stock raider.

Ryan, we used to set those carbs up 110m, 110p, 1.5N/S, and 80g spring.
Are you trying to put the side draft manifold on?

Thanks for the welcome and the advice. I have not put the solas in yet, going to wait for my ADA head and some mild porting first.

Thanks for the specs, Duke. To be honest I do not know what a side draft manifold is. I have not taken the carbs and intake off of the other Raider yet, so I'm not sure what it is. As soon as I have it in my hands, I'll let you know.
