    55 Degrees...

Is damn cold to be going out...it was four hours ago and I am still cold.

But I just had to take it for a spin as it has been screaming at me from the garage. I put 76 hours on it this summer and then then we just stopped seeing each other...had to be done. We had a great make up ride and back in the garage.

Might go for a quickie this weekend...it felt great.

55 is warm. I've attached some pics of the **** we used to do up in Northern Japan. These pics were from Nov 2002...all you need is a good drysuit, a warm helmet, dishwashing gloves to go over your normal riding gloves, and an enclosed tent with lots of clam chowder and a jet turbine style kerosene heater...

I will admit the riding part was damn freaking cold - even with all of the layers etc, the cold still gets to your face and hands when you're going 60+

    enjoy,

    Ray

Great photo of snow encrusted skis, Ray. WWoody, you do have low taxes, desert, mountains & reasonable proximity to water in Nev so not too bad of a deal even if its 11degs!

Thanks blue - my favorite is the one with the guys on the start line and the snow falling.

The thing is, some of these guys were wearing semi-dry suits...I had sweats underneath my dry suit and was still cold!!!!

But it was fun and definitely fits the mold of "hardcore"...

damn...now I miss being up there - I'd be out snowboarding right now instead of typing on the puter!!!

    enjoy,

    Ray
