Aftermarket VS stock intake
What type of intake is everyone running? Stock, aftermarket or homemade? If you are running an aftermarket, which one?
If you saw an increase in performance, where did you notice the increase?
A couple of the aftermarket parts companies both told me that the stock intake flows very well and it's hard to improve on it. I posted a while ago that I'm debating on going back to a stock intake.(and I'm still debating) I am running the
R-Rated and did notice an increase in midrange but DAMN this thing is loud. For the average rec rider like myself, I'm wondering if it's worth going to an aftermarket intake or just sticking with the stock one.
It's been very quite in here lately so I figured I would throw a few things out there and get some more discussion and ideas flowing again

I ran the R&D for a bit loved the hook-up it gave but it took about 1.2-1.6mph off my top speed
So I would say STOCK is the way too go
