Ride Plate - R&D Cut Stock vs. Jim's Cut stock

Who's tried the R&D mod? Who's tried the Jim's mod? Better yet, who's tried both and what do you have to say?

I've got this extra stock plate I bought from Cue and need to send it somewhere. I ride both offshore and lake.

    Aww c'mon.....

Nobody has the R&D cut stock plate????

Come on out of the closet now...

A comparison of these two i think is the most apropriate since both are modified stock

I have the R&D Cut OEM plate and the R&D Carbon Plate.

IHO the R&D cut is great for rough water control with a bit more speed. The R&D Carbon is awsome for speed and control but too delicate for Rec riding.

Late February the R&D plate will be made in Cast and not Carbon so you would be best to wait for that one. It seems to be a half and half of Riva and Stock. Good thing about the R&D is it will have shimming instruction to be able to tune the plate to the rider.

1 coat primer, 2 coats color.

Pricing has alot to do with quality. get the details - even at that, you're getting ripped.
