RIVA Racing Hood
Just wanted to show you some pics of RIVA Racing Hood installed.
The thing works ! ! !
You can hear it sucking cold air into the engine compartment.
Great mod ! ! !

notice any gain in performance?

The cold air is being delivered right to the RIVA cold air intake system.
It eliminates engine heat fade. The water conditions were not good enough to do before and after test, but I believe there may be a .5 - 1 MPH pickup after installation (gain with the hood). This part will definitely help with summer heat fade

would not want to submarine with that mod... is there a water catch box? or does it go straight to the filter.

No problem with water ingestion. It does not connect directly to the air filter.
I modified mine to direct connect though

It is highly unlikely to get water inside because of the way the hood is built. Also, the pipe does not go directly on the air filter, but blows cold air inside the hull.

Jerry, please put the picture of how you connected the air intake to the riva hose, Did you change the flame arrestor?
