    ride plate

    I was woundering if anyone tryed PPG RXP Pro Ride Plate?

    I'm curious about this too. With some folks claiming 3+ mph from experimental rideplates, I'd jump on one. The GPR folks see BIG gains with rideplate mod's.

    The PPG r.plate is for choppy water.

    Yes, you can tell by the rather large extension. This plate would most likely scrub speed (and a significant amount at that) on smooth water, but in theory should keep you well planted in moderately rough conditions (I have no personal experience with it).

    there is a skegged version as well that has no loss in speed (according to Glen @ ppg). Very nice piece just a little on the expensive side.
