What aftermarket tach do y'all recommend for a 4stroke? I do not trust the stock kawi tach. Also hard to read at WOT. Tiny Tach is right price but I have heard not too reliable. PET tach have been suggested also but pricey.

ive heard nothing but good from the tiny tach, a lot of guys around here run them and im gonna put one on my 15f. look on a post called "66.2 mph with minor mods" or something like it on KAWI performance. somebody did a real nice job mounting a tiny tach.

Had my commercial tiny tach for a year now, no problems. Works good for me.

CHOW: that was you who mounted your tiny tach in the glove compartment lid right?

Chowski, Can you post up the model # for the tiny tach for a 15F?

Chow you did a really nice job with that. i think on the 15f you have to use the commercial model from tiny tach

It is the commercial model CTT-II, click on the link below for info. The max RPM feature is great for GPS runs. Matter of fact, my last run peak rpm is still stored, was 7506 RPM

I think the Pet-Tech works better lasts longer than the tiny tach. Just my $.02
