    4 inch SC Filter

What is the reason for mounting the 4 " filter away from the SC housing it self? Why can't it just be done like riva does on the 15F SC kit? I was thinking just taking the 4" R&D adapter and adding a 4" K&N filter right onto it?
    Kind of like this...

What I have heard, there is more hot air in the back of the ski.

I would think you'd get the J pipe heat & if any water gets in the hull it will splash up & get sucked in.

The only other way to run it is to go with an elbow off the SC and then to the filter. I assume this would get the hot air as well? What about dual flow-rites in the seat? Will this help circulate air better? (This is on a GPRXP so the two 4" front vents that the GPR has help too )

Flo-rites in the seat won't help nearly enough as we'd all like them to. They will let water in under enough pressure too. My best advice is do Hydrotoys rear intake mod, wait for Hydrotoys to test his CrazyA air intake box, or do a 4" intake up front with either a 4" adapter off the supercharger or a 4"-3" 90° reducing elbow from the supercharger with kanaflex 620 WD smooth bore running up front with a non-cotton gauze air filter. http://www.dultmeier.com/ is where I got my kanaflex at the beginning of the summer.

Hydrotoys' rear air mod is out of the question because 1) I am not running a CF seat and 2) I am thinking of mounting the battery there like is was on the GPR set-up. I will wait and see what Hydrotoys comes up with on this Crazy air box set-up but I just want to make things simple and get this ski running first. Maybe the Kanaflex would be the best option. What did it cost you?

I think 3.66 a foot + shipping and I got 8+ feet with a couple feet leftover. If you can't run it all the way up front to the gas tank then I suggest you put it next to your intake manifold if you can.

SIMPLE would be get a Riva Power Filter and extend it to rest on the gas tank and run hoses down from the GPR vents to direct cool air at the filter.

if you don't plan on subbing your ski totally under water, i'd secure a pre-filter material to the gpr hull vent and connect an air intake directly there... 100% cool air.

100% cold air intake vs having a filter on the supercharger will be a big difference in rpms and top speed especially after you've been running around for awhile riding and heat soak sets in
