    GP1300R Vs RXT

how does the latest model GP1300R compare to say a new sea doo rxt?

all my buddies have RXT's and there is a 2nd hand 1300r available locally.

what would the result of a drag race be between us?

    top speed?

    reliabilty?

    thanks, mark

well that all depends.... conditions, mods, rider.....

the rxt is obviously larger and heavier,,, the gpr is the fastest hull out there on smooth water.

all your questions can be answered in plenty of detail if you use the search button...

    all stock

how would the rider affect drag race results and top speed results?

we are not really into dragging and top speed, mainly my buddies just go for long rides, cruising the islands and stuff.

i just wanna know if i will keep up.

you realize that you are comparing apples to oranges, right? An rxt is a 900 pound 3+ seater and the gpr is a 700 pound 1+ seater. Stock for stock in smooth water, the rxt will probably get a jump off the line with the gpr passing it down the stretch. For cruising, especialy oin rough water, stick with the bigger skis.

the search button is your friend.

u'd definitely be able to stick with them.

a gpr and RXT are very close in top speed on dead smooth water in STOCK form... GPR have it by a mph or two at most? .. stock RXT out of the box will do 65-66mph on gps

the holeshot of a stock RXT is pretty impressive tho and those that have gone against an RXT out of the hole may have experience the same. with it's weight it really loads that pump up with all the water it wants and holeshots very hard. I've watched modded seadoo 3-seaters absolutely destroy highly modded RXPs out of the hole and in 0-60 times on radar..

u'll keep up no doubt. in the rough stuff u'll be working harder and taking more abuse than they will be on RXTs.

    rider = weight...weight=drag

if your just gonna cruise around on smooth water you'll be fine.... choppy water there gonna get ya

keep in mind theres a 15 gallon fuel tank in the gpr, so dont plan on going on really really long rides

Rxt will run 65.0 easy full of fuel.

Gpr is to easy to get to 70. You want a town car or a Gt500 shelby?
