Could be a Mazda motor. Isnt Mazda the developer on the rotary motor anyway?

Yes, it is a Mazda motor. That header is a dead giveaway. It is either a 12A or a 13B. Both have 2 rotors, just different cc's. It doesn't sound stock either, the idle is way off for that. I am thinking a very large port job.

i could have probably gotten a rotary from my friends 91' rx7 before he cubed it. (atleast i think it was a 91 maybe 93) but didnt occure to me at the time that it could go in a ski and i don't have the know-how to do it anyways.

I know that there have been at least 2 conversions done before. As for the know how, Dan Atkins would be the one to talk to.

I have thought of doing this, but the engines are just too expensive. But then again, 300HP and lighter than a V-tec. The only down side to this type of engine in a watercraft is that they are lacking in HP at low RPMs. But from 5K-12K, you had best hold tight.
