    How much boost??

    Hey all.

I am curious. I am going to install a boost gauge over the winter with a some other mods and I am wondering what kind of boost I should see. My current mods are listed in my signature, and so are the mods I am planning on adding.

So, How much boost should I see when I install my gauge?

I just want to get a close number so If my boost turns up way under, I will know I have a leak in the intercooler or somewhere else.

    Thanks for the help.

8.0 (after the XS). You can spin that 15/20 now?

    42's

42's are overkill with the s2 imp

go ahead and upgrade to the s3 while everyone has Turbo fever and you can find a nice used one for cheap

    I haven't even run the 15/20 Yet.

I was told that the 42's are a benefit with this set up. I am going to see how I like the S2 wheel first then probably just switch to the greenwheel. I was running 73.6 with Stage one only, Then I winterized and I have been doing mods whenever I get time to.

I THINK THAT THEY ARE WRONG (about the 42's)

trust me you will go faster with the 38's on this setup than with the 42's

if you are going to go ahead and get the greenwheel then you will need the 42's or the rising rate fuel pressure reg.

I tell ya though, when you've got a nice digital boost gauge staring atcha, you won't be satisfied with 8.0 pounds of boost for long!

DIGGS is right on the money with his statement.

42's are waaaay overkill for the S2 impeller.

When I was running the stock SC and XS I was seeing 7.5-8ish on my gauge in normal summer riding...When it cool it jumped to about 8.5...

Until you toss in that Greenwheel, keep the stockers in...I ran stock injectors on an XS all summer, not one issue...I bumped to 42's when I threw in a Rotax Wheel...
