    is this safe for mods:

    B Kit SC, old RRECU, air intake + handling mods?

    I'd like to make it through the season without new pistons, valve springs, and a cam.

    NO!! Without supplemental fuel with that combo it will run dangerously lean.

    even with just the old style ECU?

    Yep, I am, but with the Siemens 55 lb injectors and Nils' fuel controller mapped by bttek1 (Brian). Brian has the mapping down to a perfection based on the mods....He knows his stuff....

    From talking to Les, if you don't want to run any type of fuel controller, he recommends using his B kit with a totally stock set up, meaning, no RR ECU's or modified air intakes. As soon as you start combining the modified set ups, then you'll need some sort of fuel controlling in there as Brian has stated.
