What did you do last on the ski?
Have you adjusted the throttle cable? Check that the butterflys shut completely.
Also are there any error code? hold the dash button down for 10 sec after turning the engine over.

If the throttle is slightly opened,it will not start.
ON THE COMPUTER,THERE IS A 2 WIRE CONNECTOR THAT GOES TO THE SLANT DETECTION SWITCH,black/orange and yellow/black,try unplugging the connector and starting it.This will tell you if the switch is bad.

When you turn it over and it does'nt start does the overheat symbol flash on the cluster?
I know you say the wire from the exhaust is connected, but which one? There is a cat temp sensor that wont prevent starting but the lower water temp sensor will prevent starting if its not replaced with a resistor. If all else fails you can unplug the water temp sensor and put a resistor in the plug. If that works then you have a bad sensor or broken wire. Its unlikely but it is something else to check.
