Rotax Racing remote intercooler vs Riva power cooler

I gained 50 rpm's and more throttle response when i switched my R/R int for the Riva P/C, in my moded stage II RXT, just wondering if any other person out there have had tested the Riva's vs the Spearco? thanks

I wouldn't mind, but I didn't want to do the thru hull on my ski. Just my opinion. Did'nt want to cut a hole in it.

I have heard your same results with the swap of the two.

I kinda feel the same way, water4fire. I have the RR IC right now and don't want to spend the money and cut my hull for 50 RPM. Now if you tell me its 150 RPM or more... I might start thinking about it

I got 1 PSI more boost when switching to the Riva IC.
Performance was noticeably improved, not sure of the RPM increase i saw.

I back to back tested the spearco intercooler with the RR and it performed worse than the RR so its going to be that much worse than the Riva.

Just "cut" it Austin. It only hurts for a few seconds watching that hole saw digging into your nice clean and smooth hull....

Isn't the Riva plumbing smaller than the RR ?

Riva is 2.5 plumbing right. What does RR use again ?
