    Kanaflex for IC?

I have not seen this yet but what is wrong with running the kanaflex everyone is using for the SC intake for the IC as well? That would make the piping a whole lot easier.

I think it would be hard to get a good seal as well with the internal wire in the hose.

Rubber flexes under boost...it would also get soft with the compressed charge from the SC, which can get well above 220-230 degrees in the summer heat...

Piranha is running the silicone hoses. I don't have any experience with kanaflex but i could see if a sealing problem if is has a wire stucture in it.

I would think BRP looked into it. There designed their skis with rubber exhaust hose. I think that most of us have metal pipe for exhaust is because we rub thru hull.

another thought about rubber hose. Thinks about coolant hoses on cars and trucks. Thats about 200-220 degrees and could be as much as 18 psi.

so ruber hoses will do fine for the small stages with no boost leaks and no hose expansion.

so at what stage would be a starting point to use the metal ones after what boost level?
    green wheel,rotax,rude,b-kit...?

if thats the case for my stage ruber hoses will be just fine?
anybody got some extra rubber hoses

Can someone please explain why there would be a bed seal because of wire in the hoses? How does that effect the seal?
