Got a new wheel.... For the SLT!!!!!!!!!

Well I got a great deal on a new wheel for the 780 SLT. Not sure if it is going to be too tall. What do you guys think? It is a Solas 15-24 PA-SC-1.

In my opinion, you really need to try it to know how it is.I found the Solas not as steep pitch.I tried a PA-SC-XO(16.5-23)(recommended size impeller) in my 97 SL1050,my RPM's were real high 6660,real close to rev limiter.I think it will be OK.

That sounds like a lot of wheel, just make sure you don't drag the RPM's down to the point of detonation, especially on a long left handed bender.

I believe that's what I had on the last time I took my 750 out but i think mine was like a 14-24 or 14-23 solas...acceleration was crazy but really bogged the top speed down for me!!

On a 750 I would think even pulling a 14/22 with some minor mods would be pretty tough. I do like the 14 side of the equation for much faster acceleration.
