Thumbs up Santa is OK with a GPS....

    O.K., guys (and gals!),

Santa has given me the thumbs-up for getting a marine GPS, for use mainly on my PWC.

So...what do you use (or wish you used)...and WHY?

go with the Garmin GPSMAP 72CSX like this one. grat for PWC, color screen and can load all the maps you need for the waterways.

It really comes down to what you want to spend and what your looking for in a GPS....

I have 2 of the Garmin Legands. They are cheap, have basic navigation and match my GPR...

I have heard great things about the Garmin 76 series in the color version as well as the Garmin Forerunner 201 series because it will mount to the cross bar pad of aftermarket handlebars...

My first question is how much are you looking to spend??

Well, in my opinion the holy grail of gps systems for the ski's is the Garmin GPSMap 76CSX....... Amazon has it for $305...
It's a bit of overkill but it also won't leave you wanting more...
    Good Luck

I'm cheap so that's the route I went. Right now Amazon has the Garmin Legand for about $105. Pretty hard to beat and even has basic mapping features for when you get lost. The cheapest Garmin is the yellow one that has just the basics (no mapping) and it's $99......
    But-
    No color
It totally comes down to what you want to spend....

I like that thinking...but you can count the mods available for a MSX 150, on one (maybe two) fingers!

    Great help, all!!!

    Gone shopping....
