gpr rxp kit hull ?
i am purchasing a gpr hull ..the rxp hull is tough to get more speed out of ....gpr rxp conversions are common but you need some parts from each boat and a fair amount of fabrication skills .....this is my thought make a kit boat hull use a rxp as a doner boat.....gpr bottom ...rxp top and inside hull...sold as a ""kit hull"" take you existing rxp and straight transfer everything.... motor... steering... pump.... hood ...ect everything from your rxp the new hull including your closed loop cooling system ... possibly avalible in a light weight carbon kevlar hull...... how many people would be interested in something like this....

Hydrotoys has basically listed step by step directions on most of the conversion for us.
The GPRXP uses open loop cooling because the GPR rideplates are used, rather than the RXP plates.
The Yamaha pump is used too, not the Seadoo pump.
Check out the conversion performance forum.
I'm not quite sure what you're suggesting, but I don't think it would be worth the time or money of either the seller or buyer if you're refering to selling the parts for a profit. Especially so when the parts are new, rather than used.

GPR bottom with an RXP top deck... i'd be in heaven
that's some serious fiberglass work to do it tho because the bond lines at the rubrail of the GPR vs RXP aren't even close

i am not talking about starting with a gpr hull ...i am talking about you purchase a kit hull and in a weekend... swap everything from your rxp over th the new hull.. and go 10 mph faster .....the bottom would accept or have a ride plate for closed loop ....

Anthony, if you make it happen i'll be first in line

i know it would be a bunch of work... i wasnt thinking of making the transition point at the at the rub rails probably more like the foot well area ..the gpr look better in that area anyway from there up i would make the transition to rxp

all this stems from the big drag shootout last weekend ...the big turbo skis just didnt pull away that much ..and definately not fast enough to spend over 5 gs ..leads me to believe power isnt our problem

if you make a GPR bottom transition to a RXP top and use a Seadoo pump support to accept an RXP pump... now THEN you'd be in business and i'd be trying to push jerry aside to be first in line
