    Yamaha SUV

I know they don't make them anymore, but if I wanted to find one that's only been used in fresh water and is in pristine shape, where might I look?

I might be coming back to the US next month and I'm thinking of looking for one to bring back to Japan with me. The storage gunwales on the SUVs are huge and would allow me to easily and discretely store my spearguns while launching at certain boat ramps...

Yes, using spearguns to spear fish in Okinawa is illegal. That doesn't stop me from doing it however because the folks that belong to the local fisherman's "unions" are allowed to do it...bastards over here seem to think they own a particular part of the ocean around their towns and everything in it.

Then they send their damn long lining fishing boats from here to California and the med to steal everyone elses fish with the attitude that "we can go there if we want - it's a free world"...

I should stop before this turns into a non SUV thread...

So anyway, if anyone knows a good place to shop for a solid SUV, please let me know...

    Thanks,

    Ray

I have seen them there as well, infact that is where I found mine 4 years ago. They are definitely the thing for storage I can fit a wakeboard in the side compartment of mine. Great stability in the water too.

Very cool - thanks for the info - I'll probably be back in the US this coming sunday (Dallas area) checking out some new job opportunities and if I get any of them, I'll probably try to pick one up to bring back here to Japan...

Since it's winter right now, should be a buyers market eh?

    cheers,

    Ray
