    steering play gp1300

my GP has about 10 degree of steering play and i would like to make it as tight as possible.it seams when the hangers are tilted left to right the cable will move but it will not turn the nozzle straight away.I have played around with the adjustment on the cable on the nozzle but it has had no effect.I no there is a adjustment on the other side of the cable but cant see why that would make any different to adjusting the one on the nozzle.Any way of tightening this up to get a little more response out of my steering?

Do you have an aftermarket steering nozzle ? Start there since the OEM one is plastic.

R&D,Pro-tec,Riva all have them. I know they are available here @ the Store.
