    4" intake question

    I am wondering what filter/flame arrestor guys are running on their 4" intakes.

    i didnt run anything just a piece of ??? (drawing a blank at the moment )that cloth screen stuff they wrap the riva filters in

    SSteel, no fiber filter, 4-3", Amazon has best price...Auto Zone's have for $50.

    b careful.... if the chome outer part isnt stainless it will rust.... be sure to secure the front of the filter... i had one that looks similar and the rubber ring just snaped into the steel case ....and the bounce of the ski shook it off just food 4 thought

    This is the filter i use.It is made by Spectra and you can get them at just about any Pep Boys or auto part stores that carry performance filters...If i remember right I only payed 16-17 dollars for it..Cheap insurance..

    Thanks guys, I bought the SS one off Amazon. I have a killer idea for a custom 4" intake, But I need the filter first for mock up purposes.
