How To: Making A Water Box Strap Installation-Removal Tool

Using a 20" screwdriver cut 1/16" slot in the center of the blade with a hacksaw or cutting tool. Standing on the left side of the doo insert the notch of the screwdriver into the metal wire on the strap end. Push down and tilt the screwdriver back and the strap will come off. To install strap hook it on the metal of the strap, again push down with the right hand, with your left hand push back on the metal wire until it latches. Be careful not to stab yourself. You can still use this as a normal screwdriver too.

I did this last night and I just used a small open end wrench for the job. Worked great after I thought of using it.
