    which carburetor rebuild kit?

    i just bought a used 1990 kawasaki 550sx. its been sitting for 8 years.

    what carb kit do i need please? owner manual indicates it has the mikuni BN44 diaphram type (40 mm venturi)


    i'm just a little confused which one to get. a tap on the shoulders with a little direction be very much appreciated.........!!!

    see the dif between bn and sbn! http://www.sbtontheweb.com/guides.htm#kaw

    I bet it's and sbn they seem to always list stuff as bn but the difference is obvious check in the carb section in the link I would also grab some needle and seat parts for that one but only buy real OEM parts!!ps the same kit for the sbn 38 fits the carb u listed also if it's not an sbn this kit may be what your after? check with the seller

    is it round body or square? can go from there

    well bn 44's are round............................i havent even seen the carbs yet................................but from my knowledge thats what they are......................

    thats got the screw in type needle & seat ,if stock #about 24.is ski stock? take some pix.I have a whole book on what you can do to them(old jet ski bible)

    picked it up with trailer for $500.00. ski turns over. has not run/started since 1999. bone stock except for intake and ride plate..........

    whats the pop off pressure huh? are you saying its 24...???

    yes ,but when you start doing small mods bigger N/S set at 16-18 if I get moment will try to scan some info and send to you
