    Polaris Msx 150 Help!!!

    Hello all.
I have just recently rebuilt my polaris msx 150 4 stroke engine. Took me about two weeks to do. Gone to start it and has reved out of control. So pressed the stop button and checked the throttle to see if it has been stuck but everything looks ok.Started again, same thing happened. Tried to figue out the problem for the next two weeks with out any solution. Can anybody help me. I would like to get the ski in the water before our summer is over.

allways start your ski in reverse that limits rpm's. F/I system is seeing to much fuel down stream and it runs rpm's up /why ? it's the way software is.if you can just run back of trailer in to water with ski tied down (just toget water to jet pump) that will load motor down and it should stop soon.if not you may have frozen throttle body, can you hear it make noise when pulling trigger

    later cd

    Where are you located?

What was the reason for the rebuild?

My 150 has always done this...not to worry! Just use reverse, as mentioned above. I am in the habit of giving the throttle VERY gentle nudges after starting, if any nudges at all.

    Welcome aboard!
